Easter 2013: 'Christ Is Risen' musical Good Friday and Saturday & Easter Sunday Services
CHRIST IS RISEN: HE IS RISEN INDEED
"Over
two thousand years ago Jesus Christ willingly endured the anguish of
the cross--then three days later rose from the dead proving His deity
and power. The amazing part of this true story is that He did it all for
you so that you could personally experience His free gift of salvation."If you do not have a church home, I would like to invite you to Brookside's church services this weekend. (My church). Find out how Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection can change your life.
On Good Friday and Saturday, The Brookside choir and orchestra will present their musical: Christ Is Risen at 7pm on Friday, March 29th and at 5pm on Saturday, March 30th.
On Easter Sunday morning, there are 3 service times to choose from on March 31st: 8am, 9:30am and 11am. A Continental Breakfast is served from 8:40am - 10:40am in the Fellowship Hall. There is no Sunday evening service this week.
Brookside is easy to find. It is just 1/2 mile north of Capitol Drive on Pilgrim Road, just south of Lisbon Road. For more information, check the church website: Brooksidebc.org
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week,
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord
came down from heaven and, going to the tomb,
rolled back the stone and sat on it.
came down from heaven and, going to the tomb,
rolled back the stone and sat on it.
3 His appearance was like lightning,
and his clothes were white as snow.
and his clothes were white as snow.
4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook
and became like dead men.
and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid,
for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.
Come and see the place where he lay.
Come and see the place where he lay.
7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples:
‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee.
There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
